Today is the start of something very special for Wing Creek Resort – we are participating in the Kaslo Art Walk for the first time! It was an easy decision to sign up as a venue for Art Walk since the vibrant arts community here was a huge draw for us when we originally arrived in this area.

We still have some dates available in mid to late August, but we have been full for several months for the much-anticipated Kaslo Etc Jazz Summer Music Festival held on the August long weekend. This weekend marked a very special date for a wonderful young Kelowna couple - as well as the beach at Wing Creek Resort!

"The question" was popped on the beach under a cloudless sky and 20c temperatures, and two more guests emerged as an engaged couple.

This is just the second time our beach has been used as the romantic setting for the traditional knee-beending ceremony, although many diamonds have been accepted in the cottages too.
