You can reach us via three different ferries:

• Kootenay Lake Ferry - Balfour  
• Arrow Lake Ferry - Galena Bay
• Arrow Lake Ferry - Fauquier

The Kootenay Lake ferry is the longest free ferry ride in the world!

 

Directions

Wing Creek is located just 5 minutes north of Kaslo, British Columbia, 20 minutes from Ainsworth Hot Springs and just under an hour from Nelson, British Columbia.

There are several options to arrive here from major highways: via Highway 3 (Crowsnest Highway) or Highway 1 (TransCanada Highway). Call us for details or use one of the detailed routes below.

From Castlegar:

• Northeast on Hwy 3A via Nelson to Balfour
• North on Hwy 31 via Kaslo to Wing Creek (6 km north of Kaslo)

 

From Spokane:

• Hwy 395 north to the Canada/US border
• East on Hwy 3 to Castlegar
• Follow directions "From Castlegar"

 

From Vancouver:

• East on Hwy 1 to Hwy 5
• East on Hwy 5
• Hwy 97C to Kelowna
• North on Hwy 97 to Vernon
• East on Hwy 6 to New Denver (via Needles/Fauquier ferry)
• East on Hwy 31A to Hwy 31
• 6 km north of Kaslo on Hwy 31 to Wing Creek

 

From Calgary:

• West on Hwy 1 via Banff to Hwy 93
• South on Hwy 93 to Radium Hot Springs
• South on Hwy 95 to Cranbrook
• West on Hwy 3 to Creston
• North on Hwy 3A to Kootenay Bay/Balfour ferry
• North on Hwy 31 via Kaslo to Wing Creek (6 km north of Kaslo)

 

From Edmonton:

• South on Hwy 2 to Calgary and follow directions "From Calgary"
