The Vision
Wing Creek Resort is positioned to be one of the only low-density, amenitized waterfront communities in the Kootenay Lake region as a result of this area’s unique topography and commitment to reserving land for agriculture and wildlife habitat. This area is also known for its eco-sensitive mandate and that theme will be maintained throughout the project.
This Kootenay Lake development will be developed in phases, thoughtfully designed to create special amenities. Plans include exclusive waterfront features and the creation of extensive outdoor living areas and amenities that will enhance owners’ enjoyment of this exquisite resort community nestled in its spectacular mountain lake setting. The existing trails will be expanded into an extensive trail network to allow owners to walk through nature to anywhere they are going in the community. The orchard will be enhanced with the addition of a small vineyard to allow for the use of resort grapes in special dishes created by owners and guest chefs alike.
Wing Creek Resort will offer a swimming area, boat moorage, and living areas for formal and informal gatherings at the waterfront and throughout the community. The outdoor kitchen area, located within the orchard alongside the creek, will be commercial quality and restaurant styled to support guest chef events throughout the summer months. Chefs will create culinary dishes featuring the fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs available in season from the orchard and gardens just steps away from the seating area.
This spacious outdoor area will be designed to include extensive landscaping, tiered seating areas and natural water features overlooking the kitchen facilities and framed by the natural beauty of the mountains and lake. A large level lawn, adjacent to this area, will be available to be used for event tents to allow for on-site weddings, anniversaries, and other special events.
For indoor gatherings and meetings, owners have the opportunity to book the attractive new timber frame Owners’ Lounge. This facility will also be used by the developers during the selling cycle as the resort presentation centre.
Wing Creek Resort will continue to operate as a high-end vacation destination, attracting tourists from all over the world and providing owners with the ability to generate revenue from their homes or cottages through the proven Rental Management Program.
